Celebrating Teacher’s Day
World Teacher’s Day is celebrated on September 5th but then every country has its own date for the celebration. Here, in Singapore Teacher’s Day is celebrated on September 1st and it is an official school holiday thus celebrations are normally conducted the day before, where students usually get half a day off. Other countries
Today, both hubby and I had the chance to celebrate this special day with Reynard, his friends and his lovely teachers today at Ang Mo Kio Methodist Church Kindergarten.
Few days before the celebration parents received newsletter from school informing us about the event and its details, and students were asked to dress in “Bollywood style”.
So I told Reynard that I would rent or maybe buy Bollywood style costume for him
to wear on the day.
But guess this little man of mine is way too ‘manly’ that he ‘instructed’ me not to rent and not to buy, he’s so serious and started to name his classmates who had agreed not to wear the Bollywood style costume but just casual would do *gubrakk*
So mama went to check with the little man’s homeroom Mrs Heng and her answer was that’s okay casual would do and then mama went *yeappyyy* save money =)
Here are some photos taken by me (a professional photographer to-be) *dreaming* ha.ha.ha

As to thank all Ang Mo Kio teachers the little man with mama’s help prepared
a small gift for all his teachers.
To thank them for being such a good teacher, to thank them for their guidance and teachings, to thank them for their love and everything. And pray may God bless you all!

And finally, wish all the teachers in Singapore A Very Happy Teacher’s Day, May God bless you all!
