National Day at School

This year AMK Methodist Kindergarten celebrated the National Day on August 6. Students were asked to dress in red and white. On that day students had their daily devotional for about 15 minutes before the flag raising ceremony took place. It was a very simple and quick ceremony, they sang the national anthem “Majulah Singapura” during flag raising followed by reciting the pledge which was led by Ryan in English and Nian Ping in Chinese. After the ceremony they went on with games like jumping bag, (I told Reynard I used to play this game too during my school days but we did not use the jumping bag as they do now but we used gunny sack), bakiak, Lego, etc.
After the games students continued their class party until the dismissal at 09.45.
