Baking

I have been trying baking for these past few weeks, I have tried chocolate cupcakes, vanilla cupcakes and strawberry cupcakes unfortunately they all were not well baked ;-(
The batter was actually okay as I followed the recipe step by step so I guess the problem is on the oven setting. I may have set the oven wrongly (both timer and the heat)
So I thought that I should give another try and then here’s the ‘success baking’ (for the first time yeahhhh ) banana muffin a very simple recipe and easy to bake for the beginner like me. Thanks to Leonny. for sharing the recipe ;-)

Here’s the recipe!

Ingredients

3 or 4 mashed bananas

85 grams white sugar

1 slightly beaten egg

75 grams melted margarine or butter

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

165 grams flour (I used all purpose flour)

Method

1. Mix the mashed banana, sugar, egg and margarine/butter together. Set aside.

2. In a separate bowl, mix together baking soda, baking powder, salt and flour.

3. Mix no. 1 and no. 2 above together!

4. Pour into greased muffin tins, and bake in 350 degrees F oven (about 177 deg C) for about 20 minutes.

Enjoy the muffins ;-)

Note : I’m the beginner thus I don’t know how to measure how much 1 cup is in gram so I googled it and found this useful kitchenchart conversion.
