Here’s the show!

Papa turned 38 on Saturday, February 5th 2011. It was the third day of CNY, the kids’ cousins were here, we merely bought a birthday cake from Bread Talk and have the kids and cousins sang birthday song for papa =)
It was a simple celebration, no birthday presents, very simple just like papa who loves simplicity ha ha ha

Mama, Reynard and Reuben

I can’t stop thanking God for them, they are my love, I love you three so much..muachh =)

Academic:
MATH : He is able to follow the lesson taught and is quite accurate in his work. He is very confident and able to grasp concepts
taught.

EL : He is able to follow instruction. He is able to complete his assignments on time. He also takes pain to do his works very
neatly.

Behaviour: He is well-behaved and has been nominated as a class monitor. He has been noticed by his teachers to be very attentive and performing his tasks well. He is indeed a joy to teach.

We believe all the good works he has achieved, indeed is a favor from God, Papa blesses and anoints Rey with the anointing oil every morning before he leaves home for school. Praying that God will favor this boy of us so that he can excel in his study, he will be favored among his peers and teachers, and he will be protected from the evil and harms, and we thank God for He favors, blesses and protects our darling son Reynard.

We learned to bless and anoint our children from Pastor Prince. He taught us a lot on how to always bring our children before God and anoint them with the anointing oil everyday. It is only by His grace that we can achieve all good things including raising and disciplining our little ones.

We are indeed very proud of our darling son Reynard.

All credit goes to our Lord, Jesus Christ, for He is the one who makes all things possible.

To God be the glory

Our thoughts
Parenting Seminars and Parenting Books are good and useful for us to learn how to train and discipline our little ones. But sometimes after attending the seminars or reading the books we may feel guilty as we thought we have failed in training up or disciplining our little ones due to one and others reasons such as, both parents need to work long hours due to family economic circumstances, single parent or some of us who think we have applied the wrong methods in our parenting style. BUT one of the most important factor in our parenting is JESUS, He exceeds all parenting methods and human wisdom. DO NOT sink yourself into guilty feeling for not being able to implement well the parenting methods. Turn your eyes upon Jesus who will give you wisdom and even miracles when you need them for He is our Ultimate Teacher.

Well, back to the event mentioned above. The Dinner was held in Marina Mandarin Hotel. All servers were requested to dress in Retro style costumes. On Friday night off went papa and mama to China Town to look for Retro style costumes but to no avail as we could only see Retro style costumes for ‘apek’ aka uncle uncle in Singlish ha ha ha.

Thanks to Auntie Jun (papa’s colleague) who informed papa that there’s a costumes and mascots shop which provides costumes rental service at 779 North Bridge Road, so papa and mama went to the shop and finally found a costume which has brought papa to win the best dressed award in the event, yeahhhh bravo papa =)

I am impressed with the writing, and am sure his parents have taught this little boy how it’s such a great joy to share and bless others. It inspires me as well to always teach my little boys to share and bless others. We are blessed to be blessings.

I pray for their friendship. I pray that Reynard and Isaac will have a strong friendship in Christ and love one another and cherish one another.

Just last Sunday I met this sweet little boy and had a short conversation with him, he introduced himself to me and then said this, I am Isaac, He is Jonathan (pointed to the other boy) and we three (Isaac, Jonathan and Rey) are friends =)

Reynard feels the same, he told me he, Isaac, Jonathan, Benyamin are best friends! How I love the way my little boy treasures the friendship despite his young age

Self feeding starts in early, and yes! he can do it for the first few spoons though =)

My 23 mo boy talks so much now. He is able to communicate with us expressing his needs and wants. He says things that make papa,mama and koko laugh so so loud =) When it’s a meal time he would shout loud for koko and papa “koko, makan”! (koko let’s eat) or “papa, makan”! (papa let’s eat)

His motor skills is good. He is able to climb the ladders and the climbing rocks in the playground all by himself. He remembers names of places we like to visit =) He is good in memorizing things just like his koko.

He hugs and kisses papa, mama and koko, he sure loves papa,mama and koko much and we too love you much Reuben!

You can catch Hi-5 Live Shows at Marina Square up to 12 Dec at 1pm, 4pm and 7pm no shows on Mondays. If you wish to have a up close photo with the Hi-5s be there at least 2 hour before the show as the passes is limited to the first 50 families per show.
